Participating ophthalmologists had the opportunity to learn about the scientifically documented benefits of the bioactive components of ROMEGA\u00ae in the management of glaucoma. Recent clinical data suggest that herring caviar oil may act as a neuroprotective supplement for patients with primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG). Specifically, in patients with controlled intraocular pressure, daily intake of ROMEGA\u00ae for three months led to a statistically significant improvement in visual field mean deviation (MD), with no adverse effects observed during the study period.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
These findings suggest that ROMEGA\u00ae may be a safe and potentially effective adjunct for protecting vision in patients with glaucoma, even when intraocular pressure (IOP) is already well controlled.<\/p>\n
